Working with Species

Your species list is the heart of keeping track of your seeds in Terraware. Every seed you add to your seed bank will be associated with a species from your centralized species list. This keeps information about the species you work with (such as its scientific name, common name, and conservation status) standardized throughout your project. We utilize the GBIF database flag entries if the scientific name of your species is spelled wrong, or is missing from the database.
