Inventory withdrawals are done in Terraware to track the movement of seedlings out of batches in nurseries for several purposes, including planting and survival tracking.
In Terraware, withdrawals can be done in two ways: 1) in bulk, from multiple batches, and 2) by individual batch.
To withdraw from a single batch:
- Go to the batch.
- Click on the Withdraw button to withdraw from the single batch.
To withdraw from multiple batches at time:
- Navigate to the Seedling Inventory screen (Seedlings >> Inventory in the left hand navigation bar).
- Next to the species name in the table you will see a checkbox. Check the box next to all of the species you wish to withdraw from.
- When you do so, you will see a gray bar with a “Withdraw” button. Note that in order to make a bulk withdrawal you need to select more than one species.
- Once you have done this click “Withdraw”.
- Choose the purpose of your withdrawal from the following:
- Planting: Choose this option if you are planting seedlings in a Planting Site. Note that you will need to have “ready” plants to withdraw and at least one Planting Site set up in Terraware before you can withdraw from the batch for Planting.
- Nursery Transfer: Choose this option if you are transferring plants between Nurseries set up in Terraware.
- Dead: Choose this option if you are withdrawing dead plants. The number of withdrawn dead plants contributes to the batch's Loss Rate.
- Other: Choose this option if you are withdrawing for a reason not listed above. The specific reason for the withdrawal can be noted in the Notes field.
- Choose the Nursery you are withdrawing from.
- Enter in the withdrawal quantity from each seedling batch.
- Note that If you are withdrawing for out planting, you will need to provide photos of the batches you are withdrawing. This helps create a clear record of what has happened to the inventory in your nursery.
