Withdrawals are how you record the movement of seedlings out of Nursery Batches in Terraware. You'll use withdrawals when planting seedlings in a Planting Site, transferring plants between Nurseries, recording dead plants, or moving plants for any other purpose. Withdrawals from Nurseries to Planting Sites are also how Terraware tracks your planting progress. Any user in your Organization can make withdrawals.
Withdraw from a single Batch
- Navigate to Seedlings > Inventory.
- Navigate to the Batch you want to withdraw from.
- Click Withdraw.
- Select the Purpose of the withdrawal:
- Planting — use this when planting seedlings in a Planting Site. You'll need at least one Planting Site set up in Terraware and some quantity in Ready to Plant status before you can withdraw for planting.
- Nursery Transfer — use this when transferring plants between Nurseries set up in Terraware.
- Dead — use this when recording dead plants. The withdrawn quantity contributes to the Batch's loss rate.
- Other — use this for any other purpose. Add a note in the Notes field to keep a record of the reason.
- Select the destination Nursery or Planting Site depending on your purpose.
- Enter the withdrawal quantity. If you are withdrawing for non-planting purposes, you can withdraw from any status that has some quantity. If you are transferring nurseries, optionally enter an Estimated Ready Date.
- The Withdraw Date field defaults to the current date. Update it if you need to backdate the withdrawal.
- Click Withdraw.
Note: If you're withdrawing for planting, you'll be asked to provide photos of the Batches you're withdrawing. This creates a clear record of the inventory leaving your Nursery.
