If your project will be planting seeds and/or seedlings in the field, the plants can be tracked within planting sites in Terraware.
To learn more about setting up planting sites, visit Creating A Planting Site.
If you are a Terraformation partner or accelerator participant, setting up a planting site requires coordination with the Terraformation GIS team. Please contact us so we can help to set up your planting sites in Terraware.
Detailed planting site with a map including zones and subzones where seedlings are planted
Before plants can be tracked, they need to be recorded as having been planted in planting sites. To record moving plants from nurseries to planting sites, withdraw from your inventory batches. To learn more about seedling withdrawals, visit Seedling Withdrawal.
Once you do a planting withdrawal, you will be able to see the planting progress within the Planting Progress screens in Withdrawals and in the the Plants Dashboard.
The Planting Progress screens display the planting withdrawals within both a list and a map. Within the list, the plantings are listed by planting site zone-subzones. In the map view, the plantings can be viewed on a map of the planting site.
In Detailed planting sites in the map, click on a subzone to see what plants were planted there.
