Plant monitoring in the field is done using the Observations features in the Terraware mobile app. The mobile app provides a way to record plant data within monitoring plots while in the field with limited or no network connectivity.
The mobile app supports two types of Observations:
- Assigned Plot Observations — for conducting scheduled Observations in monitoring plots assigned by Terraware. See Conducting Observations in the Field for full instructions.
- Ad Hoc Plot Observations — for conducting on-demand Observations in user-determined plot locations, including Plant Monitoring and Biomass Monitoring Observations. See Ad Hoc Plot Observations and Biomass Monitoring Observations for full instructions.
