Mobile App: Nursery Management

Use the Terraware mobile app to manage your nursery inventory and withdrawals while you are in the field. 

To manage your nursery in the mobile app:

  1. Tap Nursery Management in the home page of the app
  2. Select the nursery that you would like to manage
  3. Select what you would like to do for the nursery
    1. Add Inventory - Create a new batch
      • Specify the following:
        1. Date Added
        2. Species
        3. Germinating Quantity
        4. Not Ready Quantity
        5. Ready Quantity
      • Tap Save to create the batch. Batches with no quantities can not be created
    2. Change Status of a Batch - Change the quantities within an existing batch
      • Select the batch with quantities to change
      • Use the minus and plus buttons to change the quantities
      • Tap Save to change the quantities.
    3. Withdraw from a Batch - Withdraw quantities from an existing batch
      • Select the batch with quantities that you want to withdraw
      • Specify the following:
        1. Withdraw Date
        2. Purpose
          1. Planting - if you do not have any quantity in Ready state, you will not be able to select Planting
          2. Transfer nurseries
          3. Discard Dead Plants
          4. Other
        3. To Nursery or Planting Site
          1. If your Purpose is Planting, select the Planting Site
          2. If your Purpose is something other than Planting, select the Nursery
        4. Quantities to withdraw. Use the minus and plus buttons to specify the quantities to withdraw from the following:
          1. Germinating
          2. Not Ready
          3. Ready
      • Tap Save to withdraw the quantities.
    4. Withdraw from Species - Withdraw quantities from multiple batches and species
      • Select the species from which you want to withdraw
      • Specify the following:
        1. Withdraw Date
        2. Purpose
          1. Planting - if you do not have any quantity in Ready state, you will not be able to select Planting
          2. Transfer nurseries
          3. Discard Dead Plants
          4. Other
        3. To Nursery or Planting Site
          1. If your Purpose is Planting, select the Planting Site
          2. If your Purpose is something other than Planting, select the Nursery
        4. Quantities to withdraw. Use the minus and plus buttons to specify the quantities to withdraw from the following for each species and each batch:
          1. Germinating
          2. Not Ready
          3. Ready
      • Tap Save to withdraw the quantities.
