Projects for Seed Accessions

Projects are a collection of data in Accessions, Seedling Batches, and Planting Sites that can be used to group seeds, withdrawals, and sites that are related to each other as part of distinct forestry projects.

Each Accession can be added to only one Project.

To find Accessions that have not been added to a Project:

  1. In the Accessions screen, click the Project filter above the Accessions list
  2. In the filter, check the No Project checkbox  
  3. Click Apply to show Accessions that have not been added to a Project

To find Accessions that have been added to a Project:

  1. In the Accessions screen, click the Project filter above the Accessions list
  2. In the filter, select the Project(s) to filter for Accessions that have been added to them
  3. Click Apply to show Accessions that have been added to the selected Project(s) 

To add an existing Accession with no Project designation to a Project:

  1. In the Accessions screen, click the Accession link to access the Accession
  2. In the Accession screen, find the Project field and click Add to Project
  3. In the Add to Project screen, select the Project to which to add the Accession
  4. Click Save to add the Accession to the Project

OR

  1. In the Accessions screen, select one or more Accession(s) in the Accession list
  2. Click Add to Project in the pane that appears above the list
  3. In the Add to Project screen, select the Project to which to add the Accession(s)
  4. Click Save to add the Accession(s) to the Project

To add a new Accession to a Project:

  1. In the Accessions screen, click Add Accession
  2. In the Seed Details screen, find the Project field
    1. Select the Project to which to add the Accession
  3. Click Save to create the Accession and to add the Accession to the Project

To change the Project of an Accession:

  1. In the Accessions screen, click the Accession
  2. In the Accession screen, find the Project field and click the edit icon
  3. In the Add to Project screen, select the Project to which to add the Accession
  4. Click Save to add the Accession to the Project
