A Seed Bank is a Location in Terraware where your seed Accessions are stored and tracked. Before you can add Accessions, you'll need at least one Seed Bank set up. Only Admins can create and manage Seed Banks.
Add a Seed Bank
- Click Locations in the left navigation, then click Seed Banks.
- Click Add Seed Bank.
- Fill in the following fields:
- Name — required.
- Description — optional.
- Optionally, set up Sub-Locations for the Seed Bank. Sub-Locations let you track exactly where within a Seed Bank an Accession is stored.
- Click Add Sub-Location to add a Sub-Location.
- To delete a Sub-Location, check the checkbox to the left of its name in the Sub-Locations table and click Delete above the table.
- Note: Sub-Locations that have Accessions associated with them cannot be deleted.
- Set the Time Zone to use for Seed Bank activity notifications.
- Terraware defaults to your Organization's time zone. To use a different time zone, uncheck Use Organization's time zone and select a time zone from the selector.
- Optionally, provide dates for Build Start, Build Completion, and Operation Start.
- Click Save to create the Seed Bank.
Edit a Seed Bank
- In the Seed Banks screen, click the name of the Seed Bank you want to edit.
- Click Edit Seed Bank.
- Update the details as needed.
- Click Save.
